In the past we left everyday items or messages on the white board, like the way we save documents for class, the rules about laptops, etc but doing so means we are using valuable space that we need for our lessons, so I'm posting here those things that I used to point to on the board whenever it was an answer to your question.
Ways of saving files
Classwork files: yourname-cw-ddmmyy
homework files: yourname-cw-ddmmyy
podcast files: yourname-podcasts-ddmmyy
group work: group#-groupwork-ddmmyy
Rules regarding laptops
1-You must bring your laptop to class everyday.
2- You are responsible for seeing that your laptop is in working order, that includes having a charge good enough to allow you to do your classwork.
3- If there are problems with your laptop you must take it to the IT department during the breaks.
4- You may charge your laptop only during the breaks or before the start of classes, between 7-7:30am.
How to receive and turn in work
Want to know if you have any homework? Any work you must do will be posted either on Edmodo or here at the G10 English blog and will be posted no later than 6pm. It's your responsibility to check both places daily. If you have a question about what it is you must do, please email me at my ATHS email address, and allow 30 minutes for me to respond. Your parents can know whether you have homework by consulting either of these two online tools and of course they can write me as well at abdel.saber@iat.ac.ae
